California Superbike School  first set up camp in India at the MMSC Track in Chennai in 2010. This indeed was the very first time that The California Superbike School, recognized as the foremost motorcycle racing school in the world, operating in 15 countries came to South East Asia.

The School was founded by the legendary Keith Code, the best known and most successful on track motorcycle instructor in the world. The school is dedicated to the improvement of riding skills whether for racing or just street riding.

CSS has trained winners of the Moto GP, Formula Champions and Super Sport Championships. Champions include World Superbike Champion James Toseland, MotoGP 125cc World Champion Thomaas Luthi (personally coached by Andy Ibbot, who is part of the Chennai Camp), World Champion Chris Vermuellen, John Kocinski and Wayne Rainey.

CSS India is a platform where talented motorcycle riders who may not have the means to access world class coaching facilities can be helped to perform on the race track. Initiatives such as this are needed to ensure that, one day, India would have its very own riders competing at World Championship levels”.

Of course India, being a country where more than 1 Cr (100 Lac) Motorcycles are sold each year, also needs a curriculum and emphasis on the improvement of riding skills whether for racing or just street riding.

CSS -India attempts to therefore to satisfy two socially relevant objectives as it defines its presence in this country:

Support the discovery, mobilization and training of talented youngsters who cannot afford to pay for training and track time.

Improve the riding skills of every motorcycle rider to make him/her conscious of safe and skilled riding practices which is the responsibility of any motorcycle rider on the road.
