Victoria Peak - One of the most popular tourist attractions is the  Victoria Peak, Peak Tower & Peak Galleria & Peak walks

Aberdeen - A place where fishermen dwelled and was the first area of Hong Kong developed a century ago. Modern yachts and Chinese junks can be seen in the inner harbour. You can take a sampan ride within the harbour for a small price. 

Stanley Market - Stanley, located at the south side of the Hong Kong island and famous for its beautiful beaches along its coast line, was once a small and quaint old fishing village. The Stanley market has now become a favorite place for local and foreign shoppers.Dont forget to bargain 

Ocean Park - Ocean park is one of the largest oceanariums in the world, and the largest of its kind in South East Asia with area of 170 acres. Featured are the ocean theatre with dolphins, seals & other sea creatures, shark aquarium, wave cove, the film Fantasia - Simulator and water world ( only open in summer). A breath taking cable ride is not to be missed, get blitzed on the thrilling roller coasters. Taking the world's second longest outdoor escalator will lead you to the village of the middle kingdom, a place that is built in imitation of ancient China. 

Lantau Island Monastery - With its pristine ambience, striking landscape, unique quaint fishing village and long white sand beach blended with some modern developments nestled in the foot of the hills, Lantau Island offers a pleasant respite from the city's noises. Climb up to the Po Lin  monastery, Animistic gilded statues of different Buddha's are revered inside. The great bronze Buddha, which is the world's highest outdoor seated Buddha is just adjacent to it and perched on the Ngong Ping plateau.

Travel tip: The Cheapest and best way to travel in Hong Kong is by using the public transport system comprising of bus, metro & ferry service. You can use the Octopus pre-paid travel cards for un-interrupted travel on Metro's, local buses and ferries available at tourist centers and Metro stations. The ferries connect the islands of Hong Kong and are very cheap to use. Taxi's can be very expensive.
