Crocodile Bank  A breeding center for crocodiles, En route to mahabalipuram. 45 kms from city. 

Children's Park A mini zoo housing deers, monkeys, peacocks, reptiles & birds. A  nice picnic spot  on Sardar Vallabhai patel Rd, Guindy. 8.30 am - 5.30 pm, Tuesday is a holiday.

Guindy Snake Park adjoins the children's park. A wide collection of snakes from around the country, pythons, vipers, cobra etc.

ANNA ZOOLOGICAL PARK , The Zoo at Vandalur houses animals from all around the country, adding to the excitement are the elephant rides & the safari. The park is a 30 km ride from city near Tambaram.
